Michigan Homeless Summit
Approximately 375 people attended the annual Homeless Summit held at the Bavarian Inn, Frankenmuth. The theme of this year's Summit was "Taking it to the Next Level", and the Summit sessions highlighted best practices on moving people from homelessness to housing.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Sam Tsemberis, CEO of Pathways to Housing, and the second day began with Iain DeJong presenting to the assembly 15 Things to Stop Doing if You Want to End Homelessness. Both Dr. Tsemberis and Iain DeJong's session were amazingly interesting and informative.
