Information on extension of unemployment benefits

On June 30, 2008, the President signed Public Law 110-252, the Supplemental Appropriations Act, which provides up to 13 weeks of Emergency Unemployment Compensation. The Unemployment Insurance Agency has notified all potentially eligible customers by mail with instructions on how to apply. Moving forward, the Agency will automatically send an extension application to individuals who exhaust their regular benefits.
