Call for Research Ideas
ORBP is now accepting research ideas for the FY 2012 - 2013 biennium. If you have a research idea that you would like considered, please complete and submit the Research Idea form No. 5315 (12/09) to mdot-research@michigan.gov by Feb. 16, 2010. Whenever possible, your research idea should incorporate the Strategic Research Priorities developed by MDOT's Research Executive Committee. We are also requesting additional technical research ideas that meet MDOT's needs. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact ORBP at 517-241-2780 or mdot-research@michigan.gov.

HOLD MAY 6 for MDOT's Research Summit
MDOT's next Research Summit will be held May 6 2010 at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center, East Lansing, Michigan from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Invitation will be sent by early March through our new LISTSERV email lists. See the linked flier for more information.

Second Quarter Reports Are Due April 15
Principal investigators (PIs) who had active projects under contract through the Statewide Planning and Research, Part II, Program during the second quarter of fiscal year 2010 (Jan. 1 - Mar. 31, 2010) are required to submit quarterly reports for those projects. Please submit a completed (form 5305) to Nancy Crider or mdot-research@michigan.gov.

Research Partner Listening Sessions
ORBP will soon be distributing a progress update regarding the information gathered from the listening sessions held in Sept. 2009. We appreciate our partners' candor and participation during these sessions. Together we will build a better transportation research program for Michigan.
