Ambassador Bridge to I-75 July 9, 2009 -- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has good news for motorists who cross the Ambassador Bridge from Canada to the United States. Last week MDOT opened a newly reconstructed section of I-75. Later today, MDOT plans to open a new ramp that will move automobiles entering the United States from the bridge plaza directly onto I-75. | How traffic is affected Updated February 09, 2009
- The I-75 from Rosa Parks Blvd. to Clark Street will close for major construction on Monday, February 25, 2008. Download the detour maps for either cars or commercial vehicles (trucks). The map for cars includes closures, alternate routes to downtown, Mexicantown and the Ambassador Bridge.
- Some local streets are closed or restricted to local access only. See the list of local street closures and restrictions.
- Access to downtown Detroit, the Mexicantown community and the Ambassador Bridge will be maintained throughout the project.
- Detour information for St. Anne's Church is provided on a special map.
