Preschool programs for four-year-old children who may be "at risk" of school failure. Each child must have two of the 25 identified risk factors; more than 50% of the children must be low income. Both center-based and home-based models are available. All programs must provide strong family involvement/parent education components as well as preschool education.
NOTE: The GSRP Competitive Program website has been combined with the GSRP Formula Program website. In the future, please go directly to the Formula website atwww.michigan.gov/gsrp, as everything you need should be there. Unless an item is specifically labeled for either Formula or Competitive, items will apply to both programs.
2009-2010 Competitive Great Start Readiness Program competition is in process.
