What do I need to start a dog daycare / boarding facility?

The state of Michigan does not require operator's of boarding facilities or dog daycares to be licensed. In addition, there are no state laws or regulations in Michigan regarding dog daycares or boarding facilities. You will need to check with your local municipality (city, township, or county) as there may be local ordinances regarding these facilities.
