September 21, 2011 - The Vision Institute of Michigan in Sterling Heights will receive the CET Gold Award for an outstanding safety and health record from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA), on Monday, September 26, 2011, at 12:30 p.m., 44650 Delco Blvd., in Sterling Heights.
The MIOSHA Consultation Education and Training (CET) Division recognizes the safety and health achievements of Michigan employers and employees through CET Awards, which are based on excellent safety and health performance. The CET Gold Award recognizes two years without a lost-time accident. The MIOSHA program is part of the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
CET Director Nella Davis-Ray will present the award to Jay Novetsky, MD, Owner; Mark Berkowitz, MD, Owner; and Steven Rich, CEO. Invited guests and employees will attend the presentation and luncheon. The Vision Institute of Michigan is a medical clinic that serves clients in the Greater Detroit community.
