Join other area adults who love Michigan history and discover our state's past in a biweekly lecture series at the Michigan Historical Museum in Lansing.
Lectures are given by historian Dr. Laurie Catherine Perkins of the Michigan Historical Museum's education staff. This year's topic, "The More Things Change, the More Things Stay the Same," looks at how the human needs of food, clothing and shelter have changed or stayed the same throughout Michigan history.
The Tuesday lecture series takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Lake Erie Room (first floor, west wing of the Michigan Library and Historical Center).
Fee: $10 per person, per lecture (parking not included).
