Michigan says farewell to the Department of History, Arts and Libraries

Executive Order No. 2009-36, effective October 1, 2009, abolished the Department of History, Arts and Libraries. The essential functions of the Department of History, Arts and Libraries will be performed by other principal departments in state government.

In response to this Executive Order, Michigan.gov has been redesigned to incorporate the new reorganization of the departments. You will find the various functions and their new web locations listed below.
