| Printable GTIN (UPC) Code Information |
|
UPC codes are changing from 12 digits to the 14 digit Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) format. All companies must do this conversion by January 1, 2005. The MLCC has already made the conversion.
Twelve-digit UPC codes are converted to the new GTIN fourteen digit format by right justifying the 12 digit UPC code in the data field and filling the blank spaces on the left with zeros. GTIN can also accomodate other data structures now used in the world trade: EAN/UCC-8, 13, or 14 digit codes.
A printable list
of liquor product GTIN (UPC) codes is now available. The
list also includes Liquor Code, Brand Name, Bottle Size and SDD Shelf Price.
Please note this is a large document (over 70 pages) and will take some time
to print.
For assistance
with the GTIN (UPC) list please send an email
and include a telephone number where you can be reached during the day or you can call our help line at 1-800-701-0513.
Thank you.
